03/05/2013 Men's Swimming Finishes Season at ACC Championships12 BC records were set at the conference meet 01/30/2013 M. Swimming Takes Fourth at Dartmouth InvitatioalStranick, Boretti, Long lead team 01/30/2013 W. Swimming Takes Fifth at Dartmouth InvitationalMolloy and Couillard lead team 01/23/2013 M. Swimming Defeats MaristHenze and Stranick lead team 01/23/2013 W. Swimming Falls to MaristCouillard named Outstanding Performer AS A SOPHMORE-(2012-2013): Competed in 4 individual events and 3 relays at the Terrier invitational... Touched the wall in prelims of the 100 BR in 55.71, eclipsing the previous school record by nearly a second... swam 56.19 in finals which was good for 2nd place... also swam the 200 breast, touching 1st in a time of 2:03.44 which was also a new BC record... Also swam the 200 IM, touching 3rd in 1:52.72, and the 100 fly, finishing 14th in a time of 51.51... Also swam on the 200 and 400 medley relays, placing 2nd and 3rd respectively... In the first half of the dual meet season, tallied 8 first place finishes and set BC dual meet records in the 100 and 200 breast, swimming 58.69 and 2:09.22 in the season opener against Army and Rowan. As a Freshman (2011-2012): Capped an excellent freshman year at the ACC championships, placing 22nd in the 100 breast (56.93), and 20th in the 200 breast (2:03.69), with both swims setting new Boston College Records... Also competed as a part of the 400 medley relay, swimming the breastroke leg in 56.38, placing 8th overall... During the dual meet season, posted a win in the season opener against Army in a season best time of 2:10.12, as well as competing in the 100brst, placing 4th... Tallied a win in the 200 brst against Bryant.... Missed the remainder of the dual meet season up until ACC's due to a broken wrist.... recipient of the Athletic Directors Academic Achievement Award. BEFORE BC: Attended Charlotte Country Day School... Member of Varsity swimming team throughout high school and team captain as a senior. Was also a member of the Varsity Cross Country team for two years.... USA Swimming Scholastic All-American sophomore through senior year... Head of School Certificate for two years... High School state record holder in 200 medely relay... State record holder in 400 medely relay for year-round swim club... Long Course Junior National Qualifier in 100 and 200 breast... From Charlotte, NC... Swam under Russ Kasl at SwimMAC Carolina PERSONAL: Enjoys sleeping, hanging out with friends and eating...
