Veteran leaders and talented freshmen look to succeed this season
AS A JUNIOR (2010-2011): Had a best time in the 100 and 200 freestyle at Terrier Invitational and was part of a record breaking relay at the end of the first semester. In the second semester, he had the privilege of travelling to hisfirst ACC Championship meet at the Olympic facilities in Atlanta, Georgia (Georgia Tech) and produced several best times along with several personal best splits in relays. Competed in the maximum four relays at the meet and was part of the BC team that scored the most points ever at the ACC Championship meet.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-2010): Was plagued by several injuries throughout the season but was able to overcome them by Terrier Invitational and had a great meet. Named to 2009-10 All-ACC Academic Honor Roll. Earned 2009-10 Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008-2009): Was one of a few freshmen to travel to the Loyola meet in Baltimore and continued to travel and perform at a very high level throughout the first semester.
BEFORE BC: Swam for the Georgetown Preparatory School Hoyas for four years and was a Co-Captain as a senior. Was part of several All-American relays and contributed to four consecutive METRO Championships. As a junior, the team was ranked 2nd in the nation for schools our size. Also swam in the Montgomery County Swim League whereas part of a number of All-Star winning relays.
PERSONAL: Political Science major with a triple minor in Hispanic Studies, History, and Spanish. President of the Ignatian Society. From Rockville, Maryland and a Georgetown Prep alumni with an older sister who attended and swam for St. Mary's in Southern Maryland.
