As a Freshman(2004-05)
Swam mostly middle distance events specializing between the
200 and 500 freestyles. He also dropped time in the 50 and 100 freestyle's
becoming a better sprinter.
BEFORE BC:
Swam four years at Shady Side Academy...in 2004 earned All-American honors in 200 and 400 freestyle relays...2004 state champions in 200 freestyle relay and runner-up in 400 free relay...2003 state championship in 400 free relay....league champions 2002-04...captain of tennis team senior year...won state championship in 2003...honor roll student.
PERSONAL:
Born March 6, 1986...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences...Richard is the third of Tom and Fran Donahue's eight children.
