As a Junior (2010 - 2011): Conquered the mile for the first time ever at the Terrier invite with the help of Nick Daganais... Received Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

As a Sophomore (2009 - 2010): Qualified for the Bonus Heat at the Terrier Invitational in the 200 Butterfly... Received Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

As a Freshmen (2008 - 2009): Walked on to BC Swimming and Diving... Was the lead off swimmer for the BC record-holding Fin Relay Team... Finished first overall in the 500 freestyle at the New England Invitational with a PR (5:07.18)... Received Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

Before BC: Three year varsity letter winner and captain of Newton North Swimming and Diving '08... Led the team to an undefeated conference season... Baystate Conference All Star finishing the season with the best overall time and third best overall time for the 500 (5:12.50) and 200 yard freestyle (1:55.42) in the conference respectively... Awarded Student-Athlete of the Month by Newton North Athletic Program... Highest point scorer on Newton North Swimming and Diving... Awarded The Coaches Award from Belmont Aquatic Team.

Personal: Son of Charles and Dianne Baron and youngest of three siblings, Ira, David, and Jessica... A psychology major fluent in both English and Italian and currently studying Chinese... Lover of Anna's Taqueria, pickup football, and Boston College.
