CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's soccer team's match at No. 4 Connecticut scheduled for Tuesday night has been moved to Wednesday at 7 p.m. due to the threat of strong storms in the area.
The Eagles will travel to Storrs after earning a 1-1 draw at Virginia Tech Friday night. BC held a 24-9 advantage in shots over the Hokies in the match and is now 2-0-1 in away contests this year.
UConn has gone undefeated in its first six matches of the season with a record of 5-0-1. The Huskies are coming off of a 6-0 shutout of Harvard on Friday after tying Boston University, 1-1, on September 9.
Boston College begins a three-game home stand this Saturday when it hosts San Francisco at the Newton Campus Field at 1 p.m. The Eagles will also host Rhode Island (Sept. 25) and NC State (Sept. 28) to close out the month.
