BC Soccer shuts out Syracuse

BELMONT, Mass.Senior forward Willie O'Keeffe and freshman forward Kevin Boyd each scored one goal to lead Boston College to a 2-0 BIG EAST win over Syracuse (4-5-0) in a match played at the Belmont Hill School in Belmont, Mass.

O'Keeffe's unassisted tally at 21:35 put Boston College (2-4-2) on top. The home team maintained the advantage through the remainder of the half, and extended its lead to 2-0 on Boyd's fourth goal of the season.

Boston College freshman goalkeeper Chris Hamblin finished with seven saves. Syracuse senior Dan Hobson made three stops.
