Men's Soccer Falls to Providence, 2-0

Providence forward Andy McConuille broke a scoreless tie with his goal at 41:10 and the Friars held on for a 2-0 BIG EAST victory over Boston College in Providence, R.I.
McConuilles tally was assisted by Mike Eisenhut and Kevin Jones. Andy Bussman gave the Friars a two-goal advantage with his tally in the 76th minute. Jones added his second assist of the game on Bussmans goal.
Sophomore Chris Hamblin (Bristol, England) made seven saves for the Eagles. Dan Pires made 10 saves to preserve the shutout for Providence.
The Eagles will play their final regular-season game on Sunday, November 1 at 1 p.m. when they face BIG EAST foe Georgetown at Belmont Hill.
