Men's Soccer falls to Syracuse 3-0

Syracuse freshman Patrice Bernier scored two goals to lead the Orangemen past the Boston College Eagles, 3-0, in Syracuse, N.Y.
The Orangemens Gabriel Gervais scored the game-winning goal in the ninth minute off an assist from Jeff Knittel. Bernier tallied an unassisted goal at 49:48 and capped the scoring at 81:16.
Boston College sophomore Chris Hamblin (Bristol, England) made two saves. Syracuses Dan Hobson made five saves.
Boston College falls to 3-2-1 overall, 0-1 in the BIG EAST, while the Orangemen improve to 2-2 on the season, 2-1 in BIG EAST play. The Eagles will return to action on Sunday, September 20 when they travel to Jamaica, N.Y. to battle BIG EAST rival St. Johns.
