HANOVER, N.H. - Senior Amit Aburmad was a part of both Boston College goals with a goal and an assist to lead the No. 16 men's soccer team to a 2-0 win at No. 22 Dartmouth Sunday afternoon at Burnham Field.
Aburmad has now recorded three goals and two assists in the last two matches for eight points.
Junior Stefan Carter notched the other goal for the Eagles in the 63rd minute. Aburmad and senior Patrick Chin assisted on his score.
Juniors Kyle Bekker and Charlie Rugg assisted on Aburmad's goal in the 22nd minute of the first half.
Junior keeper Justin Luthy had four saves for the second match in a row and recorded his first clean sheet of the season. Dartmouth's Noah Cohen made one stop in goal.
Aburmad and Bekker provided six of the eight BC shots in the game while Aburmad had two shots on goal. The Big Green's Lucky Mkosana had three shots as well.
Senior Steve Rose was inches away from his first career goal at Boston College and giving the Eagles the lead when he hit the post in the fifth minute of the match.
BC (4-0-0) opens ACC play next Friday when it travels to College Park for a 7:30 p.m. tilt with No. 4 Maryland at Ludwig Field.
