As a Junior (2000): Appeared in one game this season ... checked into the game against top-ranked Connecticut in the first overtime and played out the game through the two extra stanzas on defense, preserving the 1-1 tie with the No. 1 team in the nation ... played outstanding defense in the game ... was one of the 18 players to dress in the semifinals and finals of the BIG EAST Championships ... earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

As a Sophomore (1999): Joined the team part-way through the season and saw action in six game, making three starts ? registered one shot on goal ? added speed and determination to the lineup ? saw his first collegiate action in the West Virginia contest and made his first start against Dartmouth? awarded the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

Before BC: Played under head coach Charlie Mayfield at Mauldin High ? captained the team in his senior season ? named team MVP his senior season and honored with the Coach's Award as a junior ? was a two-year member of the South Carolina Olympic Development Program's team and participated in t he 1996 Region III camp ? was a member of South Carolina's Under-18 State Champion soccer team and played in the Final Four of the Capital Cup in Cocoa Beach ... a fine student, Bryan was Mauldin's valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society ? volunteered with the Special Olympics.

Personal: Enrolled as a philosophy and communication major in the College of Arts and Sciences ? Bryan is the youngest of Stephen and Marsha Rose's three sons ? born August 5, 1980.
