NOTES: Paul enters his senior season having played in ? and started ? all 50 matches since arriving at BC in the fall of 1996 ... played club soccer for BC head coach Ed Kelly for five years before coming to Boston College; played alongside BC teammate Andrew Stein for the Eagles Soccer Club.

AS A JUNIOR (1998): Played in and started all 17 matches ... Recipient of the McElroy award ... earned BIG EAST Academic all-star honors for the third consecutive year.

AS A SOPHOMORE (1997): Played in and started all 16 matches ... earned BIG EAST Academic all-star honors for the second consecutive year.

AS A FRESHMAN (1996): Earned BIG EAST All-Rookie Team honors ... one of only two players to start all 17 matches ... scored his first collegiate goal in a 3-1 home loss to Rutgers ... earned BIG EAST Academic all-star accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-State honors as a junior and senior at Millis High School ... was a three-time All-Tri Valley League selection ... also competed for the Eagles Soccer Club from 1991-95; the Eagles Soccer Club won the 1995 regional title and participated in the national tournament in Palm Beach, Fla. ... was a four-year member of the Massachusetts State Team ... a fine athlete who captained the school's basketball team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Enrolled as a sociology major in the College of Arts & Sciences ... he is the younger of Katie and Paul Cornoni's two children ... born September 29, 1977.
