Appeared in 17 games in net, starting 16 ?owned a 1.28 goals against average ? posted three shutouts and had a 9-8-0 record on the season ? made 64 saves on the season ? set a career high with eight saves at No. 16 Seton Hall (Sept. 8) ? later matched his career high in saves in just 73:56 of time against Dartmouth (Oct. 24) ? earned his first career shutout ? 1-0 ? against St. Francis (N.Y.) on Sept. 5 ? earned back-to-back shutouts against Boston University (1-0 on Sept. 29) and Villanova (2-0 on Oct. 7) ? made five saves in the Eagles? 3-2, overtime victory over Georgetown (Oct. 28) ? was the starting goalkeeper in the Eagles? NCAA Tournament first-round game against Fairleigh Dickinson.

As a Sophomore (2000)
Appeared in one game this season ... played the final 45:00 of the final regular season game against Brown ... picked up with win because he was in net when Bobby Thompson scored the game-winning goal ... made three saves in the game, including a key save to preserve the win on an awkward shot at the goal line ... helped the team pick up a shutout when he combined with Hamblin and Tim O?Halloran for the clean sheet against Brown ? backed up Chris Hamblin in the BIG EAST and NCAA Tournaments.

Before BC
Enrolled at Wake Forest University for a year before transferring to Boston College ? was a member of Wake?s NCAA team in 1999 ? attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Ill. where he was a two-time team captain ? named to the all-state and all-conference teams ? was a member of the Loyola teams that won four consecutive Catholic League championships ? named Most Valuable Player of the Catholic League ? also participated in indoor track, football and lacrosse in high school ? an eight-time first-honors student.

Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ? Danny is the third of Patrick and Patricia five children ? born February 19, 1981.
