As a Redshirt Junior (2000): Started all 20 games at right back; one of only two players on the team start all the team?s games ... is one of the team's strongest defenders who usually marks one of the opposition's top players ... got his lone assist on the season on Bobby Thompson's game-winning goal against Brown ? since returning from his redshirt season in 1999, he joined a very strong backfield that ranked eighth nationally in team goals against average ? a typical stay-at home defender who like to join in the offensive rush ... serves a long, accurate ball from the backfield.

As a Junior (1999): Redshirted the season.

As a Sophomore (1998): Played in nine matches, making seven starts ? tallied one assist ? set up Danny Horan?s game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Brown in the Brown University Tournament.

As a Freshman (1997): Played in 14 matches, making 10 starts ... played his first collegiate game against Hartford.

Before BC: Earned all-state honors during his senior season at St. Thomas Aquinas ... earned defensive MVP honors from head coach Jobi Hughes as a senior ... started all four years, serving as team captain during his senior season ... his team won the state championship in his junior and senior years (1996 and 1997) ... played club soccer for Lighthouse under coach Walter Sheltz.

Personal: Enrolled as an accounting major in the Carroll School of Management ... served as an assistant coach for the Lighthouse club soccer team during summer of 1998 ? the oldest of Abelardo and Maria Cantillo?s three children ... born April 4, 1978.
