Flynn Fund Donors Gather to Kickoff Men's Hockey Season
Oct. 8, 2008
Over 500 loyal Flynn Fund donors gathered in Conte Forum on Saturday, October 4 for an exclusive breakfast to watch the men's hockey team take the ice for the first time this year. Guests had the opportunity to tour the newly renovated locker room, listen to an address from head coach Jerry York, and participate in an autograph session with all 25 members of the team. Donors were greeted by Baldwin and also had an opportunity to snap a photo with the 2008 NCAA championship trophy.
All recent Flynn Fund donors were invited to the breakfast and were entered into a raffle with a chance to win two team autographed hockey sticks.
The Flynn Fund supports scholarships and operating costs for Boston College's 31 varsity sports. Last year, over 4,500 alumni, parents, and friends contributed more than $21 million to BC Athletics. To learn more about the Flynn Fund, please call 617-552-0772 or log on to www.bceagles.com.
