Sept. 15, 2011

Boston College hockey, the defending Beanpot, Hockey East regular-season and Hockey East Tournament champions, will open the 2011-12 home portion of its schedule against Denver, an NCAA Tournament qualifier last winter, on Friday, Oct. 14.

Season tickets for the 2011-12 season are now available online at www.bceagles.com. The Eagles' home schedule features 15 dates, including two games against cross-town rivals Boston University (Nov. 13 and Dec. 2) and Northeastern (Nov. 11 and Jan. 14).

Season-ticket packages are offered at three pricing options: a limited number of lower-level seats at $279, upper-level seats at $213 (KK-NN) and upper-level corner seats at $160 (OO, JJ). The season-ticket packages reflect a 10-percent discount from single-game ticket prices.

Individual tickets for home dates are on sale now. Tickets are $20 for the lower level, $15 for the upper level and $10 for the upper-level corner. Please note: ticket prices for the Boston University home dates are $25 for lower-level seats, $20 for upper-level seats and $15 for upper-level corner seats.

Tickets may be purchased in person at the Conte Forum box office or by phone at 617-552-GoBC. For faster service, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online at www.bceagles.com.

Boston College returns 18 letterwinners from last year's 30-win club. The Eagles will open the season in the Ice Breaker Tournament at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. against Michigan State in college hockey's season-opening game on Friday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. EST.
