Brock Bradford Sustains Arm Injury

Jan. 20, 2008

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College junior forward Brock Bradford has suffered a broken left humerus and is out of the lineup for the remainder of the season, according to head coach Jerry York.

Bradford sustained the injury during the second period of BC's 2-2 home tie with Boston University on Saturday, January 19, 2008. Surgery is not required.

Bradford played in five games this season. He recorded five points -- three goals and two assists -- in the last four games.

The Burnaby, B.C., resident missed 17 straight games because of a break in the same bone (left humerus) suffered in the team's season-opening game -- a 4-3 overtime loss to Michigan -- in St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center on Friday, Oct. 12.

Bradford has registered 68 points -- 28 goals and 40 assists -- in 89 career contests.
