Boston College and Maine Skate to 0-0 Tie

CHESTNUT HILL, Maine -One night after defeating top-ranked Boston University, Boston College continued its dominant play, but Maine sophomore goalie Alfie Michaud made 42 stops and the teams finished in a 0-0 overtime tie at BC's Kelley Rink.

The game marked Boston College's first scoreless tie since the 1919-20 season. Maine last played in a scoreless tie during the 1993-94 season.

Michaud earned the game's top star honor after making 12 saves in the first period, 13 in the second, 15 in the third and two in the overtime session.

Boston College outshot Maine, 42-17.

Boston College freshman goalie Scott Clemmensen finished with 17 saves to earn his second shutout of the season.
