STEVEN MICHAEL SANTINI; born March 7, 1995...shoots right... played the 2012-13 season with the United States National Team Development Program in the United States Hockey League...participated in the New Jersey Devils development camp in July 2013...attended Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15):Played in 22 games … missed 16 games after undergoing surgery on 10/28 … named to the 2015 U.S. National Junior Team preliminary roster … tallied five points – scored one goal and five assists; logged three assists in 14 Hockey East outings … notched his first goal of the season against RIT (10/18) … returned from hiatus against Northeastern and logged his first assist of the season (1/10) … tied a career-best with four shots on goal and assisted on Matthew Gaudreau’s game-tying tally against Harvard in the Beanpot consolation (2/23).

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14):
Played in 35 games; missed two games in late December while playing with Team USA at the World Junior Championship ... earned All Hockey East Rookie Team honors ... captured a share of the program's Bernie Burke Outstanding Freshman Award with Thatcher Demko ... tallied 11 points - three goals and eight assists; logged seven points - one goal and six assists - in 18 Hockey East contests ... led all defensemen with a +26 plus/minus rating ... led the squad with 68 blocked shots ... scored his first collegiate goal in a 7-2 win over Rensselaer (10/13) ... tallied his first-career multi-point game with a goal and an assist, finishing the game with a +4 rating against New Hampshire (12/6) ... scored a goal late in the second period in the national semifinal game to tie the game heading into the third period against Union (4/10).

BEFORE BC:Played for the U.S. National Under-18 Team in 2012-13...registered 15 points - all assists - in 66 games...played 25 games for the U.S. Development Team in the United States Hockey League and recorded six assists...participated in seven games in the 2012-13 World Junior A Challenge for the USA Under-18 Team and recorded a plus-eight rating and was named Defenseman of the Tournament ... registered 10 points for the U.S. National Under-17 Team - two goals and eight assists - in 55 games during the 2011-12 season...scored one goal in five games for the USA Under-17 team in the World Under-17 Challenge in 2011-12.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... is the 2013-14 recipient of The Martin Family Hockey Scholarship Fund ... was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the second round (42nd overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft...Steven and his siblings; Christina, Allison and Anna are the children of Sandra and Steve Santini.
