RYAN THOMAS FITZGERALD; born October 19, 1994…shoots left…played the 2012-13 season with the Valley Junior Warriors in the Eastern Junior Hockey League…participated in the Boston Bruins development camp twice in July 2013 and July 2014…attended Malden Catholic High School.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15):Played in all 38 games … posted 25 points – scoring 17 goals and logging eight assists; totaled 11 points – seven goals and four assists – in 22 Hockey East games … led the Eagles in goal scoring with 17 tallies and total shots with 125 … scored a club-high seven power play goals, trying for third best in Hockey East … led Boston College with five game-winning goals, tying for ninth most in college hockey … became the first Eagle to score in consecutive games with a goal and an assist against RIT (10/18) … posted a career-best three-game goal scoring streak, including the game-winning power play goal against Colorado College (10/24) … turned in his first-career two-goal performance including a power play tally and his second game-winning goal of the season at Denver (10/31) … notched his second two-goal performance in four games, including BC’s first short-handed marker of the season, against Boston University (11/7) … recorded Boston College’s first hat trick of the season and last since Johnny Gaudreau (3/29/14) turned the trick, including a pair of power play goals and the game-winning tally with a career-high eight shots, against UConn (1/24) … registered his second short-handed goal of the season along with an assist against Northeastern in the semifinal round of the Beanpot (2/3) … scored the game-winning overtime goal against Harvard in the Beanpot consolation (2/23) … netted a power play goal in his 75th-career game against Vermont in game one of the HEA quarterfinals (3/13) … scored a power play goal at the NCAA Regional against Denver (3/29).

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14):Played in all 40 games … led all rookies in scoring … two-time Hockey East Rookie of the Week and Rookie of the Month in December … tallied 29 points – 13 goals and 16 assists; recorded 13 points – four goals and nine assists – in 20 league games … finished with a +8 rating; was a +5 in Hockey East play … turned in a pair of three-point performances … tallied the first three-point game by scoring his first-career power play goal and two assists against Army (11/10) … scored a goal and added a pair of assists and posted a season-high seven shots against Penn State (12/28) … scored the game-tying goal against UMass Lowell at the NCAA Regional in Worcester, Mass. (3/30).

BEFORE BC: Named MVP of the first ever USHL/NHL Top Prospect Game…registered 30 points – 14 goals and 16 assists – in 26 regular season games for the Junior Warriors in 2012-12…recorded three goals and three assists in six playoff games…participated in the World Junior A Challenge for the USA U-19 team in 2012-13 registering four goals in four games…played five games for the U.S. Nation Under-18 Team for the United States Development Program in 2012-13…was a two-time Massachusetts Super 8 Tournament Champion at Malden Catholic.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in College of Arts and Sciences … is the 2013-14 recipient of the John P. Cunniff '66 Memorial Hockey Scholarship Fund … was selected by the Boston Bruins in the fourth round (120th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft…Ryan and his three brothers; Casey, Jack and Brendan are the children of Kerry and Tom Fitzgerald … father, Tom, is assistant general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
