Men's Golf Finishes in Second Place Tie at Hartford Hawks Invitational

South Kent, Conn. – The Boston College men’s golf team finished in a second place tie with Sacred Heart (895, +31) out of a 16 team field at the Hartford Hawks Invitational on Tuesday.

Sophomore Andy Mai finished seventh overall in the tournament (220, +4) and led the tournament field in par 3 scoring (-2).  John Jackopsic (225, +9), Luke Feehan (226, +10), Ryan Coughlin (226, +10), and Nicholas Pandelena (237, +21) rounded out the Eagles’ top five.  Sophomore Max Christiana finished best amongst the individual field (232, +16) while freshman Brian Butler competed in his first collegiate tournament (241, +25).

The University of Hartford finished first overall for the event (875, +11).

The Eagles will be back in action on October 7 when they travel to the Warren Golf Course in South Bend for the Fightin’ Irish Gridiron Classic.
