Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The Boston College men’s golf team finished eighth out of 14 teams (885, +21) at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill on Sunday.

Senior Luke Feehan led the way for the Eagles for the second consecutive tournament, shooting a 220, +4 which was good for an 24th place tie overall.  John Jackopsic (223, +7), Andy Mai (223, +7), Nick Pandelena (224, +8), and Ryan Coughlin (226, +10) rounded out the top five.

Duke took first place (856, -9) followed by UNC (862, -2) and Charlotte (873, +9).

The Eagles will be back in action on September 24 for the Hartford Hawks Invitational at the Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Conn.
