Men's Golf Falls To 10th Place

The Boston College men's golf team struggled at the Old North State Club on the second day of action of the 2014 ACC Men's Golf Championship. The day after the Eagles shot a season-high 291 in the first round, the Eagles fell to 10th place after shooting a combined 300, while Georgia Tech moved into first place.
The highlight of the second day for the Eagles was the play of John Jackopsic. The junior shot a 74 on Friday but came back to shoot a 68. He was one of three ACC golfers to shoot a 68. Jackopsic moved into sixth place with his stellar round.
Patrick Oleksack shot a 77 and is now tied in 35th place, while Andy Mai struggled with a 78 and is in 44th place.
The third and final round of the 2014 ACC Men's Golf Championship is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
Sunday's third round action will be available via live stream on theACC.com beginning at 2:00 p.m.
