Men's Golf Competes at Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Boston College men’s golf team finished tied for 18th at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate. The Eagles posted a team score of 910, +70 in three rounds of play at the par-70, 6,675-yard River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
Nicholas Pandelena led the way for the Eagles, finishing tied for 34th overall out of 139 competitors with a score of 221, +11. He finished with five birdies and one eagle, while posting scores of 75, 73 and 73. Patrick Oleksak took the second spot on the team, shooting a 226, +16. Max Christiana (231, +21), John Jackopsic (232, +22) and Matt Murphy (252, +42) rounded out the top five.
Texas Tech won the invitational with a team score of 851, +11. UNC Greensboro took second (864, +24), while Radord finished third (865, +25).
The Eagles will be back in action for the Notre Dame Oak Hill Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. on April 21-22.
