John Jackopsic finished tied in 11th as BC's top finisher.
As a senoir, he won the Colleton Invitational with a -2 (214) as the team placed fifth overall...Jackopsic placed tied for 11th overall in the tournament with a 72, 77 and 74 for a +7 at the Hartford Hawk Invitational on Sept. 2014....Placed eighth at the at the CCSU Invitational as he finished with a 74 and 71 (+5) in the two day competition at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course...Earned All-ACC Academic team honors as a junior...Played in nine tournaments this past year for the Eagles. He finished in 21st place at the 2014 ACC Golf Championship after a third round 74 at the Old North State Club...A team co-captain, Jackopsic's 21st-place finish was the highest for a BC golfer since 2008. He placed a season-best of sixth at Notre Dame Oak Invitation by shooting a low of 69 in the third round...As a sophomore, competed in nine tournaments during the 2012-13 season...recorded a season best +5, season best (70) in the first round, and a 29th place tie overall at the Golfweek Program Challenge...placed a season best 17th tie overall in the Hartford Hawks Invitational...posted a +9 at the Fighting Irish Classic for second best on the team...averaged a 75.50 over a span of 24 rounds...as a rookie, competed in 10 tournament...led the Eagles with a -1 at the Golfweek Program Challenge ... led the Eagles with a +12 at the Wolfpack Invitational ... finished a career best 14th place tie at the George Washington Invitational ... shot a career best 69 in the second round of the Golfweek Program Challenge ... named to the 2012 All-ACC Academic Golf Team ... averaged a score of 76.79 over the span of 29 rounds.
