Pierre-Louis Earns All-ACC Preseason Recognition

Boston College senior linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis has earned 2013 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason honors, according to a league announcement made on Wednesday.

Pierre-Louis is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound product of Norwalk, Conn., and the King Low Heywood Thomas school who has started 31 games in three seasons at Boston College. He has registered 252 career tackles, including 145 solo tackles and 14 tackles for loss.

Last fall, Pierre-Louis earned All-ACC honorable mention honors after recording 85 tackles in nine games (9.0 tackles per game). He finished the season ranked seventh among all ACC players in tackles per game.

A 2013 All-ACC preseason first-team honoree by Phil Steele, Pierre-Louis earned Rivals.com Freshman All-America honors after finishing his true freshman season in 2010 ranked second on the team with 93 tackles. He recorded 74 tackles as sophomore in 2011.
