Sinkovec Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Former Boston College tight end/fullback Jake Sinkovec was honored by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame (NFF) as a selection to the 2014 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, comprised of college football players who maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better throughout their college career.
Qualifications for membership in the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include being a starter or a significant contributor in one's last year of eligibility, achieving a 3.2 cumulative GPA throughout entire course of undergraduate study and meeting all NCAA-mandated progress towards degree requirements.
Sinkovec, a Bristol, Wisconsin native, played in 10 games as a senior in 2013. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound senior finished the season ranked second on the team with 14 receptions for 118 yards and three touchdowns. He caught 18 passes for 187 yards and four touchdowns in 29 career games.
This past season Sinkovec earned the AdvoCare v100 Independence Bowl Scholar-Athlete Award.
Currently, the NFF distributes more than $300,000 a year at the national level through the program.
