CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Running back Cedric Washington rushed 19 times for 117
yards and a touchdown Saturday at Alumni Stadium in Boston
College's second intrasquad scrimmage of spring practice.
Redshirt freshman Derrick Knight carried the ball 15 times
for 67 yards and a touchdown in the 25-series, two-hour
tune-up for next Saturday's annual spring game (1 p.m. at
Alumni Stadium).
Sophomore quarterback Brian St. Pierre completed 15 of
29 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns on the day.
Redshirt freshman Kevin Kiley completed 10 of 22 passes for
139 yards.
Redshirt freshman fullback J.P. Comella also had a big
day, grabbing two passes for 70 yards and a touchdown to
lead all receivers.
"I think our team showed improvement this week," Coach
Tom O'Brien said. "It showed today that we are getting
individual improvement from many people, and our goal for
spring practice was individual improvement. We look
forward to our final week of practice and to next
Saturday's spring game."
