More than 1,100 Participate in Football Survey in First 24 Hours
March 5, 2013
In less than 24 hours, nearly 1,100 Boston College football season ticket holders have participated in an Athletics Department survey designed to solicit input on several football gameday issues.
"The response has been incredible," Director of Athletics Brad Bates said. "Our fans have been very enthusiastic about giving their feedback to help us make their gameday experience a memorable one."
The Athletics Department engaged football season ticket holders in two "town hall" style meetings earlier this year. The survey, which was emailed Monday, is a continuation of that fan engagement. Questions range from basic demographics to fan preferences on tickets, parking and potential on-campus hospitality options. So far, the results are encouraging.
"We have passionate fans here at Boston College," Bates said. "They want our team to succeed and know they are a part of our success. We are asking all our season ticket holders to participate as this survey is designed to reflect a comprehensive experience of our most loyal constituents so we can make decisions that best serve our fans this fall."
BC is encouraged by the input. "The athletic administration has made great strides in engaging the season ticket holder base in general to feel like an important part of the program," one fan wrote. "I love this," wrote another. "I love that there is interest in fixing it."
Ticket holders have until Friday, March 8 to complete and return the survey.
