Ready to make a run at a successful senior campaign after battling injury through much of his BC career?played his way into the starting lineup at the end of the 1997 season, then started the first six games of 1998 before suffering a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament (right knee).

1999 Season
Saw action in nine games?recorded eight tackles (all unassisted), is credited with a pass break-up?had three unassisted tackles at Temple.

1998 Season
Started six games...notched a season-high seven tackles versus Syracuse, before getting injured...made six stops against Louisville and four against Temple...had one interception for a four-yard run back against Virginia Tech.

1997 Season
Contributed 18 tackles, 12 of which were unassisted, in seven games...recorded two pass breakups...his best performance came against Pittsburgh, where he where he contributed 11 tackles, seven of which were unassisted, and two pass breakups...made two tackles at Notre Dame.

High School
Earned All-State, All Region and All-Conference honors as a senior wide receiver/defensive back at Hamilton High School...captured Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati Post all-star accolades...earned 1996 Butler County Defensive Player of the Year recognition...led the Cincinnati area with eight interceptions as a senior...holds school records for career touchdown receptions and longest punt return...played three years for head coach Ed Mignery; spent his freshman year at Woodbury Forest (VA) Prep...played in both the Ohio North-South All-Star Game (Canton; June 28) and the Pennsylvania-Ohio Big 33 All-Star Game (Hershey, PA; July 26)...a four-year track letterman who excelled in the 300-meter hurdles and the 4x100 relay.

Marvin Glenn Sutton, born April 24, 1979...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences...a fine student who earned both the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship and the Pilgrim Baptist Church Scholarship (for academics)...aspires to own and manage a sports psychology firm after graduation...Marvin is the middle of Linda and Marvin Sutton's three children.
