High School: Earned All-America honors from USA Today, Tom Lemming's Prep Football Report and Street & Smith's...captured All-Region honors from Blue Chip Illustrated and Super Prep magazine...was a three-year Bay State League all-star at Brookline High School...was hampered by turf toe as a senior, but still managed to gain 690 rushing yards...rushed for 1,489 yards in 1994, leading Brookline to a Division II Super Bowl berth...scored 38 touchdowns in his three-year varsity career...played in the 1996 Massachusetts Shriners Football Classic...also an outstanding sprinter; won the Eastern Mass.
