2001 Season
Started all 11 games and the Music City Bowl for the Eagles at free safety?has now played in 34 games in his career, plus three bowl games?was tied as the third-leading tackler on the team with 75 stops, 59 of them were primary?also had one tackle for a loss (vs. Virginia Tech) and one interception (vs. Notre Dame on Oct. 27)?was the leading-tackler for the Eagles in the Music City Bowl win vs. Georgia with 11 stops plus a pass deflection?had double-figures tackles in three games with a career-high 11 vs. Virginia Tech (Oct. 13) and Syracuse (Nov. 24) and 10 vs. Miami (Nov. 10)?had an interesting experience in Virginia Tech game as he was sent to hospital in third quarter with stomach pain?tests were negative and team buses picked him up at hospital en route to the airport.

2000 Season
The starting strong safety for the Eagles in all 11 games, plus the bowl game vs. Arizona State...was second on the team in interceptions with three...was the fourth-leading tackler on the team with 56 stops, including a sack and three tackles for loss...was named the BIG EAST Conference co-defensive player of the week for his performance against Syracuse (Oct. 14)...had two interceptions vs. the Orangemen and a then career-high eight tackles...also had three pass deflections vs. Syracuse...had seven tackles vs. West Virginia (Sept. 2) and Notre Dame (Nov. 11) and six tackles vs. Navy (Sept. 23) and Miami (Nov. 28)...had two tackles and a pass break-up vs. Arizona State in the Aloha Bowl.

1999 Season
Saw action in all 12 games?provided depth in the secondary and proved to be a valuable performer on special teams?registered seven tackles (five solos) on the year?recorded three tackles at Syracuse?returned a blocked punt 15 yards for a touchdown against Northeastern.

1998 Season

High School
Earned USA Today All-America honorable mention accolades as a senior wide receiver at Brookline High School; also captured all-state and all-Bay State League honors...served as team captain for head coach Hank Cutting...ranked among SuperPrep's and Tom Lemming's top 100 recruits in the East...also earned all-league basketball honors.

Ralph Parent, born September 28, 1979...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences with a major in communications...Ralph is the youngest of Anne Marie and Gabriel Parent's five children.
