Played in the fourth annual Governor’s Bowl All-Star Classic; the game matches the best seniors from New York and New Jersey...had his play limited by injuries in his senior season at Delbarton...served as his team’s quarterback, free safety and kicker during his three years...Led the Green Wave to 21 consecutive victories; after Delbarton lost its first varsity game in 1998, it didn’t lose again until the last game of the 1999 campaign...Delbarton finished 10th in the Newark Star Ledger’s final 2000 poll with a 10-1 record...earned Parochial All-State and All-Northern Hills Conference first-team honors as a junior and senior at Delbarton...also gained all-county accolades in 1999...led the Green Wave to the 1998 Parochial Group 3 title; Delbarton also advanced to the 1999 Parochial Group 3 title game...threw for more than 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns in 1999; threw just three interceptions...also led Delbarton with nine interceptions as a senior defensive back.
