2010 Season
Appeared in all 13 games...finished the season with nine tackles and two tackles for a loss...one of those TFLs came at Duke...made one solo tackle against Maryland and at NC State...recorded five tackles (four solo), one for a loss, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup against Weber State.

2009 Season
Appeared in every game and earned the starting Sam linebacker spot the last seven games of the year...finished with 37 tackles (24 solo) on the year and ranked third on the team in pass break ups (3) and tackles for a loss (7)...had two tackles and a tackle for a loss against USC in the Emerald Bowl...tallied four tackles and a forced his first fumble against North Carolina...finished with six tackles and a tackle for a loss against Central Michigan...set a career high with eight tackles and had a pass break up at Notre Dame...had two tackles and a sack at Virginia Tech...had a tackle for a loss and recovered his first fumble against Florida State...registered four tackles against Wake Forest...registered four tackles (three solo) against Northeastern.

2008 Season
Awarded a scholarship midseason...recorded three tackles on the season...had tackle at Wake Forest...registered a pair of tackles against Rhode Island.

2007 Season
Looks to see increased playing time at linebacker following a successful redshirt freshman campaign...made his way to the two-deep for his first collegiate game, vs. Wake Forest, in the 2007 season...saw playing time in a majority of games.

Earned 2005 All-State first-team honors from the Chicago Tribune ... selected as a Daily Herald All-Area captain ... was a three-time All-North Suburban Conference selection as a linebacker at Stevenson High School ... led the Patriots to an 11-1 mark in 2005; team advanced to the Class 8A quarterfinal round ... earned All-State special mention honors from the Chicago Tribune in 2004 ... played for head coach Bill Mitz ... was also a member of Stevenson's basketball and track teams.

Michael James Morrissey, born February 5, 1988 ... enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... Mike is the oldest of Amy and Jim Morrissey's four children; his father played nine seasons in the National Football League; was a linebacker for Chicago (1985-92) and Green Bay (1993).
