2005 Season
Finished the season as the Eagles' fourth-leading receiver with 25 receptions for 229 yards and four touchdowns; started all 12 contests at tight end...caught three passes for 28 yards and a career-high two touchdown receptions in the season opener at Brigham Young; scored the first points of the 2004 and 2005 seasons...had one seven-yard catch against Army...added one 13-yard catch against Florida State...recorded three receptions for 53 yards at Clemson...caught one 12-yard pass against Ball State...had two catches for seven yards against Virginia...tallied five receptions for 23 yards, including a two-yard touchdown catch against Wake Forest...had three catches for 31 yards at Virginia Tech...made three receptions for 18 yards at North Carolina...caught a 17-yard touchdown pass in his final home game against North Carolina State...caught two passes for 20 yards at Maryland.

Saw action in all 13 games as a backup tight end and on special teams...earned starting long snapping duties early in the season.

High School
Led Upper Arlington High School to a 15-0 record and the Division I state title in 2000...played in the 2000 Ohio North-South all-star game...earned SuperPrep all-Midwest honors as a senior tight end at Upper Arlington High School; also gained all-Midwest accolades from Tom Lemming...captured all-state, all-district, all-metro and all-Ohio Capital Conference honors in 2000...made 41 catches for 635 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior...registered 24 receptions for 363 yards and five touchdowns in his junior year...also excelled on Upper Arlington's basketball and track teams...placed seventh in the state in the discus as a junior; holds the school record in that event (173'1").
