Averaged 37.2 yards per punt in the regular season?career-high 61-yarder in his first collegiate game, vs. Baylor?averaged 41 yards per kick in the bowl game, including a 55-yarder?averaged 44.5 yards per punt, including a long of 52, in six tries vs. Virginia Tech.

High School
Earned all-state honors as a senior at Jesuit College Prep...captured team MVP accolades as a senior fullback/safety; was also the team's kicker and punter...scored 12 touchdowns - nine rushing and three receiving - as a senior...made 60 tackles and two interceptions...played for head coach Bob Wunderlick...also played rugby, baseball and golf during his schoolboy career.
