Appeared in all 13 games...had one reception for 18 yards at N.C. State ... made two catches for 12 yards against Notre Dame.

2009 Season
Appeared in 10 games...caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown on the season...his touchdown came on a spectacular 50-yard reception against Wake Forest...caught two passes for nine yards against Kent State...caught a pass for six yards against Northeastern.

2008 Season
Caught first career pass and recorded first collegiate touchdown against Maryland...the nine-yard TD reception came on a fake field goal attempt in the third quarter from holder Billy Flutie...saw increased playing time as a sophomore.

2007 Season
Did not see any game action due to injury.

2006 Season
Redshirted.

Earned All-Metro honors from KARE-TV 11 as a senior tight end/defensive lineman at the Breck School ... made 56 catches for 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2005; set a school single-game record with 11 receptions for 287 yards against St. Croix Lutheran ... made 66 tackles, including four sacks, as a senior ... served as 2005 team captain ... had 30 catches for 414 yards and six touchdowns as a junior; made 85 tackles ... played for head coach John Thiel ... also starred on the school's basketball team, leading the Mustangs to the Class 2A title game in 2006; finished his career as a 1,000-point scorer.
