Saw significant time at defensive back for the Eagles...finished with 25 tackles (15 solos), one tackle for loss, one sack (for nine yards) and one pass deflection...totaled three solo tackles, two assists and one sack in the season opener at Ball State...made one assisted stop against Penn State and one solo tackle against Connecticut...tallied four tackles at Wake Forest...made two solo stops and one assist against Massachusetts...recorded one solo tackle and one assist at Pittsburgh...posted one solo tackle and one assist at Notre Dame...registered three assists at Temple...totaled three unassisted tackles, one assist and one deflection in the regular-season finale against Syracuse.

2003 Season
Finished the season with 13 tackles (11 solos), one sack, one interception...one solo against Penn State....one solo and one assist at Connecticut...two solos against Miami...three solos against Ball State...one assist and one knockdown at Temple...strongest performance of season with three solos, one key sack on a third-and-12 situation, one interception returned nine yards vs. Pittsburgh...one solo vs. West Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Earned 2001 All-Dixie honors fromSuperPrep...captured All-State second team accolades as a senior and All-Dade County honors as a junior and senior...made a team-high 105 tackles, including 85 solos, in his senior season; recorded eight sacks and one interception...led American to an 8-4 record in 2001...also excelled on American's track team; advanced to the state finals in the 200 meters and the 4x100 relay as a junior.
