Earned All-America honors from USA Today and All-Region accolades from Blue Chip Illustrated, Tom Lemming's Prep Football Report and SuperPrep magazine...captured Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors as a senior offensive and defensive tackle for head coach Paul Demanche's team...led the 1995 Barnstable team to an 11-0 mark, the Old Colony League title and the Eastern Massachusetts Division I-A Super Bowl championship; his team finished as the top-ranked team in the Boston Globe and Boston Herald polls...earned Old Colony League all-star honors as a junior and senior...played in the 1996 Massachusetts Shriners Football Classic...was among the 22 recipients of the 21st annual National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award, receiving the honor at a banquet in May of 1996...also competed in the shot put and discus on the school's track team and played for the lacrosse team.

Paul Allen LaQuerre, born October 26, 1977...enrolled as a marketing major in the Carroll School of Management...an active member of his high-school community; activities included the National Honor Society, Peer Leadership and the Alliance Against Violence and Racism in Schools... Paul and his younger sister Cheri are the children of Gwen Dixon and Paul LaQuerre.
