Tough player with quickness who is ever-improving...one of several players on the BC defense this year that brings experience to the unit...has played in 28 career games, plus two bowl contests.
Started all 11 games for Boston College at defensive end...was named the BIG EAST defensive player of the week after his performance vs. Rutgers (Oct. 28) when he had a career-high 12 tackles, including three for a loss...had a then-career high seven tackles in season-opener vs. West Virginia (Sept. 2)...was ninth on the team with 37 tackles and led the club with eight tackles for a loss and six quarterback sacks...had his first career interception in the first quarter of the win against Syracuse (Oct. 14).
Played in 11 games, including six starts, plus a start in the Insight.com Bowl?recorded 25 tackles (15 unassisted), including five tackles behind the line and three sacks?impressive game vs. Virginia Tech included a sack of quarterback Michael Vick?had one pass break-up and three quarterback hurries?recorded a key sack late in the fourth quarter against Pittsburgh?had five tackles (three unassisted), one tackle for loss and a fumble recovery against Baylor.
