At BC: Underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder during the spring of 1997...enjoyed a healthy and productive spring of 1999; listed as the starter at left end on the pre-season depth chart

1998 Season: Started all 11 games at defensive tackle...seventh on the team with 59 tackles...had 37 solo stops...season-high nine tackles versus Temple and Virginia Tech...credited with eight tackles against Louisville...had one and a half sacks on the year...tallied four QB hurries, two in the season opener.

1997 Season: Made smooth transition from linebacker to nose guard...played in all 11 games...finished the year with 14 tackles, including nine solo stops...also registered one sack...made four tackles in two games -- back-to-back contests against Virginia Tech and Miami; had three unassisted tackles in each game, and added one tackle behind the line of scrimmage against Miami...made three tackles in his collegiate debut -- in the season opener at Temple...assisted on two stops against Cincinnati... had one solo tackle in the home win over West Virginia.

1996 Season: Redshirted.

High School: Earned All-America honors from Super Prep magazine, ranking second among all New York State prospects...set a Kings Park High School record with 103 tackles in 1995 (breaking the record held by his older brother Tucker, who was a starter at linebacker for Wake Forest )...a fine athlete who earned All-America first team honors from Bigger Faster Stronger magazine...captured All-Region accolades from Blue Chip Illustrated...was a two-time All-County and four-year All-League selection at Kings Park High School...earned the prestigious Zellner Award as the Most Outstanding Lineman in Suffolk County... selected as the Defensive MVP of the 1995 PAL/Suffolk County All-Star Game..also earned All-State honors as a senior... in addition to his tackles, recorded six forced fumbles, one interception and one fumble recovery as a senior...served as senior captain for head coach Mark O'Brien...played in the 1996 Boomer Esiason-Long Island All-Star Game...also excelled on the school's track team, earning All-State accolades and setting the school record in the shot put.

Personal: Adam C. Grace, born May 31, 1978...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences, where he is majoring in computer science...a fine student who was involved in the Big Brothers, Peer Mediation and SADD programs in high school...Adam is the middle of Jane and Jim Grace's three children.
