2009 Season
Played in 12 games and started 10 of them...fourth among defensive linemen with 30 tackles...second on the team with two sacks and fourth with 6.5 tackles for a loss...had three tackles against USC in the Emerald Bowl and two tackles and a sack at Maryland...recorded three tackles and made an acrobatic play for his first career interception against North Carolina...had a tackle for a loss and a pass break up at Virginia...recorded six tackles and a sack against Central Michigan...had six tackles and a tackle for a loss against NC State...recorded three tackles against Florida State, including one TFL...made three tackles at Clemson...registered three tackles and one for a loss against Northeastern...recipient of the Armond Colombo Endowed Football Scholarship.

Finished the season with 15 tackles (9 solos), 2.0 TFL for 11 yards, 1 sack for 10 yards, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery...started the Georgia Tech, Army and UMass games...had two tackles in BC's win over Michigan State in the Champs Sports Bowl... had two solo tackles in the ACC Championship game against Virginia Tech, tying his season high and giving him 13 tackles total on the season...notched a solo stop in game at Maryland that saw 71 total team tackles...recorded a solo tackle in loss against Florida State...assisted on a tackle in 53 total team tackle performance at Notre Dame...had a solo tackle in 55-24 victory versus Bowling Green...recorded two solo tackles, including a TFL and assisted on a tackle in win over Massachusetts... got his first start of the season at defensive end in game vs. Georgia Tech, his sixth career start...responded by assisting on two tackles...recorded his third-career forced fumble in game vs. NC State, also recorded his first TFL for 10 yards, the second tackle on the season...had one tackle in the season-opening win over Wake Forest.

Was a two-time Patriot-Ledger All-Scholastic selection as a two-way lineman at Marshfield High School ... earned All-East honors from Tom Lemming ... began his high-school playing career with little football experience ... recorded 71 tackles, six sacks, two pass breakups and one fumble recovery in eight games in 2004 ... gained EMass.
