At BC: As one of BC's best all-around athletes, Chamberlin has been moved from linebacker to fullback and back to the other side of the ball; he now is a mainstay with the linebacker corps...his size and athleticism make him a natural fit... has made the transition smoothly, giving an impressive performance at the spring game, leading the Maroon team with 11 tackles.

1998 Season: Started all 11 games for the Eagles...had 78 tackles, good for second on the team...registered two sacks...made eight stops versus West Virginia (five solo)...made five solo tackles against Navy...registered two sacks versus Virginia Tech...season-high 11 tackles against Pittsburgh...made six stops in the season opener versus Georgia Tech...made seven solo stops versus Syracuse.

1997 Season: Saw action in all 11 games...moved to fullback from his previous position of linebacker...although he carried the ball only seven times for 18 yards, he continued to be a main ingredient in the success of BC's running game, serving as the lead blocker for his teammates in the a special teams player, he recorded six tackles.

1996 Season: Found himself in the Eagle lineup right from opening day, seeing action as a linebacker, tight end and blocking back throughout his rookie season as an Eagle...caught four passes in his freshman a key special teams player, he was in on nine tackles (seven unassisted)...his real strength was blocking, and the coaching staff even changed his uniform number so he could line up in the backfield on short-yardage situations.

High School: Earned All-County, All-Suburban and All-League honors as a senior linebacker at Mahwah High School...captured 1995 All-State recognition from the New Jersey Football Coaches Association (Super 100)...was an All-Region choice...recorded 114 tackles (74 solo) and 10 tackles for losses in 1995; also forced six fumbles and made one interception ...rushed for more than 900 yards and scored 14 touchdowns as a senior, earning team MVP honors...played for head coach Ed Caporale...played in the 18th Annual New Jersey North-South All-Star Football Classic...was also a standout member of the school's basketball and track teams; won the New Jersey Group 2 state shotput championship as a senior.

Personal: Frank Jacob Chamberlin, born January 2, 1978...enrolled as a computer science major in the College of Arts & Sciences...Frank and his younger sister Wendi are the children of Gwenn and Frank Chamberlin.
