At BC: The top returning tight end in receiving yards...will battle for the starting tight end spot...continues to improve in size and strength and will be a major factor in the run blocking schemes...he'll also look to become more active as a pass catching threat this year...made a 14-yard reception in the annual spring game.
1998 Season: Played in 10 games...had nine catches for 99 yards...made two catches in each of three games ñGeorgia Tech, Rutgers and Virginia Tech...finished with a season-high 29 receiving yards, including his longest reception of the season (23 yards), against Rutgers.
1997 Season: Saw significant action...although he did not catch any balls, he was an important contributor to the overall blocking scheme of the Eagles' rushing and passing games.
1996 Season: Although he made the travel squad on several occasions, he did not participate in a game...consequently, he preserved a year of eligibility.
High School: Earned All-State honorable mention recognition...was a member of the Texas Top 100...captured All-Southwest honors from Tom Lemming's Prep Football Report...made 27 receptions and scored six touchdowns as a senior, leading Lee to the state quarterfinals...played for head coach Dick Olin... Was one of four members of his high school team to earn a Division I scholarship...also played on the school's basketball team.
