2012 (SENIOR):Started all 12 games at middle linebacker ... led the Atlantic Coast Conference and ranked fourth nationally with 145 tackles; averaged a conference-best 12.08 tackles per game ... registered 81 unassisted tackles and 64 assisted tackles ... earned All-ACC first-team honors ... registered at least 10 tackles in eight games ... participated in 1,004 defensive plays; one of three players to see action in more than 1,000 plays, joining linebacker Steele Divitto (1,052) and defensive back Manuel Asprilla (1,008) ... registered a team-high 10 pass breakups ... tallied four tackles for a loss of five yards ... recorded one forced fumble and one blocked kick ... earned ACC Linebacker of the Week honors after he registered a career-high 24 tackles - 14 solo and 10 assisted tackles - in BC's 22-13 loss at Northwestern, marking the second-most tackles in one game in school history and the highest single-game tackle total since Frank Chamberlain matched the school record with a 25-tackle performance against Syracuse in 1999 ... led team's defense with a game-high 20 tackles (17 solo and three assisted), including 2.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups, in the Eagles' 30-23 overtime loss against Virginia Tech in his final game at Alumni Stadium, marking the only two times that season an ACC defender recorded at least 20 tackles - both accomplishments he set; earned ACC Linebacker of the Week honors.
