1998 Season: Started eight games, hampered by a shoulder injury in the other three...finished sixth on the team with 61 tackles (36 solo)...earned All-BIG EAST honors...season-high 15 tackles against Notre Dame...made 10 stops versus Pittsburgh...registered seven tackles against Rutgers, Temple and Louisville...made six pass deflections...one tackle behind the line of scrimmage in the season opener...named to the 1998 Football News' Pre-Season All-BIG EAST team.

1996 Season: From the opening day victory at Hawaii, Cirino was a fixture in the Eagle defense...finished the season with 50 tackles (27 solo), the most of any first-year player...earned a starting assignment against Navy, but was forced to the sideline for arthroscopic surgery to his right knee after that game...he returned in time to reclaim his starting position for the Syracuse game and finished with six starts in his rookie season...finished the season with a bang, notching nine tackles in both the Temple and Miami games...also had a big game against Syracuse, intercepting one pass, recovering two fumbles, forcing another and making three tackles...had six stops against Pittsburgh.
High School: Earned All-America honors from Tom Lemming's Prep Football Report and Max Emfinger's Bluechips...captured All-Region accolades from Super Prep magazine...was a Blue Chip Illustrated Big East Super Team selection...a three-time All-City and two-time All-State selection...rushed for 594 yards and earned Newark Star Ledger All-Parochial honors as a senior at St. Peter's Prep; missed five games in 1995 with a broken collarbone... led his team to three conference titles, and to the state championship and a number-five USA Today ranking as a junior...his team advanced to the state title game in 1995...made 14 interceptions and scored 24 touchdowns in his schoolboy career...played in the 18th Annual New Jersey North-South All-Star Football Classic...played for head coach Rich Hansen...also competed on the school's basketball and track teams.
