2009 Season
Started all 13 games at strong safety...second on the team in solo tackles (48) and total tackles (73)...his 25 assisted stops ranked third on the team...also had 3.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, two interceptions, two pass break ups and two forced fumbles...regarded as one of the hardest hitters in the ACC...had six tackles against USC in the Emerald Bowl to go along with a sack, a forced fumble and an interception...made seven tackles at Maryland...recorded a career-high 10 tackles against North Carolina, including one TFL and an interception...tallied seven tackles, six of them solo, and a pass breakup at Virginia...made two tackles against Central Michigan...recorded eight tackles at Notre Dame...had five tackles, a sack and a tackle for a loss against NC State...recorded eight tackles with a career-high seven solo stops against Florida State...tallied seven tackles against Wake Forest...registered eight tackles and forced his first career fumble at Clemson...recorded three solo tackles against Kent State...recipient of the Robert S. Valuable second-stringer at free safety who also started two games at strong safety...third on the team with three interceptions...returned one pick 87 yards for a touchdown at Florida State...had 31 tackles and a sack on the year...registered two tackles against Vanderbilt in the Music City Bowl...recorded four tackles against Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship Game...had career highs with six solo tackles and seven total stops vs. Maryland...registered four solo tackles, a sack, and returned an interception 87 yards for a score at Florida State...had two solo tackles against Clemson...notched six tackles at North Carolina...registered a tackle and had an interception against Rhode Island...had a solo tackle and his second career interception in the fourth quarter against UCF...had three tackles in the season-opener vs. Kent State.

2007 Season
Forced to sit out the last five games of the season with an injury...recorded two total tackles against Florida State, one solo....had an assisted tackle and his second pass breakup of the season in defensive performance that held Virginia Tech within range to stage a historic fourth-quarter comeback...registered his first career interception, coming in the fourth quarter vs. Bowling Green...also combined for two total tackles (one solo) in performance...broke up a pass in performance against Massachusetts...registered two solo tackles in win over Army...had a solid defensive outing in second start of season, recording 3 solo tackles, including a TFL in game at Georgia Tech...making his season debut, recorded two solo tackles in home game vs. N.C. State.

2006 Season
Played in all 13 games...had 12 tackles, including nine solo stops during the season...registered one tackle for loss and recovered one fumble...had two tackles in collegiate debut against Central Michigan...registered solo tackles in wins over Clemson and BYU...recorded four tackles (one solo) at North Carolina State...recorded solo tackles against Virginia Tech and Buffalo...made one solo tackle against Duke...registered one solo stop against Maryland.

2005 Season

Earned Division IV All-State first-team honors as a senior defensive back at Liberty High School; shared Division IV Defensive Player of the Year honors ... was a three-time All-County selection and a three-time All-Trumbull Athletic Conference first-team choice ... recorded 65 solo tackles and 112 assists in his senior season; totaled 12 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, four sacks and two fumble recoveries ... also made 22 receptions for 396 yards; added 215 rushing yards ... scored eight touchdowns ... returned 14 kicks for 243 yards ... played for head coach Jeff Whittaker ... recognized as an elite Scholar-Athlete for the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame.
