Earned All-State first-team honors as a senior strong safety at St. Ignatius High School…was a Cleveland Plain-Dealer All-City selection in 1996…also captured All-District accolades and was selected the Most Valuable Defensive Back on his 1996 team…earned USA Today All-America honorable mention accolades as a senior…selected to the 1996 Gridiron Greats Elite Team, a statewide all-star team…made 90 tackles and seven interceptions in his final season…helped St. Ignatius to the 1995 state title…played for head coach Chuck Kyle…was also a standout pole vaulter on the school's track and field team.
