Boston College's Men's Fencing Team opened its regular season on November 20th with a meet
at Brown University. The team had a great start, coming home with a 2-0 record from the meet.
They defeated Johns Hopkins by a score of 22-13, and put Tufts under with a score of 18-9.
Three fencers went undefeated to start the men's team off with an unblemished record.
Senior Luke Mountain went 6-0 in the sabre, junior Greg Shea went 6-0 in the foil and junior
Zakee Howard won bouts (three in the epee against Johns Hopkins and three in the foil versus
Tufts) to lead the Eagles.
The men's team will return to competition on December 4th against MIT, St. John's, Brown,
Vassar, and Brandeis. Brandeis will he hosting the event.
