She has led the men's team to seven New England Intercollegiate Fencing Championships titles, the latest in 2011, and led the women's team to the NEWIFA title in 2010 and 2011. Fadner has a coaching certification from the US Fencing Association Coaches College in all three weapons and is a USFCA monetieur in foil. She has served as director of the Boston Fencing Club since 1981. Fadner is a 1979 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
