Men's Basketball Partners With The3PointFoundation

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's basketball team has partnered with The3PointFoundation, a non-profit that teaches and mentors urban boys to prepare them for success in academics and life.

The Eagles will serve as a program partner for The3PointFoundation's Assistant Coach Program. BC will auction off the opportunity to be an assistant coach for the day for the games against Massachusetts (November 10) and Duke (February 8). The winner of the auction will receive two tickets, get to sit near the team during the game and meet the staff and players.

ABOUT THE3POINTFOUNDATION
The3PointFoundation is a non-profit that teaches and mentors urban boys starting at age nine to prepare them for success in academics and life. We concentrate on reading, writing, mathematics and science. We work with underserved youth who have demonstrated commitment, discipline and enthusiasm by playing in organized city basketball programs. The key to our success is implementing an outstanding program that emphasizes character development, academic achievement and basketball improvement. We are focused on educational and athletic programs that continue to help us open pathways for our student athletes to become college graduates and contributing citizens.
